FAQ

Questions, answered

Everything you need to know about planning your dental journey to Antalya.

Why choose Antalya for dental treatment?

Antalya offers modern dental facilities, an international airport with broad connectivity, and a Mediterranean setting that makes recovery comfortable. It is a well-established destination for international travellers.

How does treatment planning work?

After you submit the consultation form, the coordinating team reviews your goals and history and prepares a preliminary personalised plan with an estimated timeline.

Do I need to send photos?

Photos of your smile and any recent x-rays help the team assess your case and prepare a more accurate preliminary plan. Upload is optional on the form.

How long will I need to stay?

It depends on the treatment. Some procedures need a few days; implant-based treatments may require a healing period between visits. Your plan includes an estimated stay.

Can you help with travel and accommodation?

Yes. Trip4Smile provides VIP airport transfer and accommodation guidance. Flight booking remains your responsibility, but we advise on timing around your appointments.

Do you provide VIP transfer?

Yes. As Trip4Smile we run our own VIP transfer for the patients we coordinate: meet and greet at Antalya Airport, a private vehicle to your hotel, clinic journeys during treatment, and the return to AYT. Share your flight details once the plan is agreed.

How much does treatment cost?

Costs vary by treatment and case complexity. After your consultation form is reviewed, a preliminary estimate can be prepared. No payment is requested before a plan is agreed. See Prices for how an estimate is built.

Are there hidden costs?

Your preliminary plan is itemised: clinical stages, typical stay, and what is not included (flights, meals, optional tourism). Medicines are included. There are no extras beyond the agreed plan. Payment is in pounds sterling (GBP) only. Clinic fees are paid to the treating clinic. No payment is requested by Trip4Smile before a plan is agreed.

Will treatment hurt?

Most procedures are carried out under local anaesthesia, so pain during treatment is not expected. Some swelling or sensitivity afterwards is normal and usually managed with simple pain relief. Your plan notes what to expect for your case.

Do implants always need two visits?

Often yes. The implant is placed on the first visit; it then needs months to fuse with the bone before the permanent crown or bridge. Temporary teeth can cover the gap. Some cases need grafting or a sinus lift first. Your plan states the expected number of visits.

What if I do not have enough bone?

The dental team assesses bone volume from photos, X-rays or a 3D scan. Where volume is low, grafting or a sinus lift may be advised before or with implant placement. That is decided after assessment, not from a photo alone.

Can I bring a companion?

Yes. One companion is included free of charge. A second or further companion is chargeable. Children aged 0–12 are free of charge.

What about aftercare and follow-up?

Aftercare guidance is provided before you leave, and follow-up communication continues once you are home to support your recovery.

Is it safe to travel to Antalya for dental treatment?

Antalya is a well-established destination for international patients, with modern clinics and an international airport. We provide VIP transfer and accommodation guidance to keep your visit straightforward, and recommend following current travel advice for your country.

Which languages do you support?

Our coordination team speaks English, Turkish and Russian at native level, so you can ask questions and receive updates in the language you prefer throughout your journey.

What if I need care after I return home?

Aftercare guidance is provided before you leave Antalya, and our team stays in contact once you are home. If a complication arises, you can reach Trip4Smile on the company phone numbers, including outside coordination hours.

Are the materials and systems used certified?

We work with dental teams that use globally recognised, certified systems and trusted materials. Details specific to your plan can be discussed during your consultation.

How do I pay for treatment?

Treatment is quoted and paid in pounds sterling (GBP) only, not in euros or US dollars. Medicines are included, and there are no extras beyond the agreed plan. No payment is requested before a plan is agreed.

What medical history should I share?

Share any relevant medical conditions, medications, allergies and previous dental work when you submit the consultation form. This helps the team assess suitability and plan safely. You can update it during your consultation.

How are my appointments scheduled?

Once your plan and travel dates are agreed, the coordinating team schedules appointments with the dental team to fit your timeline, including any healing periods between visits.

How do I prepare for treatment and travel?

After your plan is confirmed, you receive guidance on what to bring, how to prepare, and timing around your appointments. Booking flights remains your responsibility, but we advise on dates that suit your schedule.

When are dental X-rays needed?

If you have recent dental X-rays, sharing them helps the team assess bone structure and hidden issues. In many cases new X-rays or a 3D scan will be taken during your visit to Antalya for accurate planning.

How do I know if a treatment is suitable for me?

Suitability depends on your dental condition, bone volume, general health and goals. After reviewing your consultation form and photos, the dental team can advise which options may be appropriate for your case.

Can I combine dental treatment with a holiday in Antalya?

Yes, if the calendar respects healing. Veneers and many crown stages often fit a single stay of several days, with rest between appointments. Implant surgery needs a quieter first evening; sightseeing is better after the swelling eases. Your plan states which days are clinic days and which are yours.

Which treatments can be finished in one visit?

Many veneer, crown, whitening and smile-design stages can be completed in one stay when laboratory work is scheduled into the week. Implants usually need two visits, with months of healing at home in between. The preliminary plan says which applies to you.

How should I choose a dental team in Antalya?

Ask for named implant or ceramic systems, time to think, aftercare in writing, and a stay that matches healing. Walk away from countdown offers, unnamed materials or a quote before anyone has seen your photos. Trip4Smile is built around that homework. See the dental tourism guide.

What is a Hollywood smile?

It is a planned aesthetic makeover, usually veneers or crowns on the teeth that show when you smile, with a digital preview first. It is not a single product or a guaranteed shade of white. Typical stay in Antalya is about five to seven days when laboratory work is scheduled into the week.

Does the quote include hotel and flights?

Clinical fees are paid to the treating clinic. You book flights; we advise on dates. Hotel guidance is part of coordination; nights are yours unless a plan says otherwise. VIP transfer is included in the journeys Trip4Smile runs. The outline separates these so a clinic headline is not mistaken for the whole trip.

How many visits will I need?

It depends on the treatment. Some procedures, like whitening or veneers, may need a single visit. Implant-based treatments often require two visits with a healing period between them. Your plan includes the expected number of visits.

How is my personal information protected?

Your information is used only to respond to your enquiry and coordinate your care. We do not sell your personal data, and you may request access, correction or deletion at any time. See our Privacy Policy for details.

What should I pack for my dental trip?

After your plan is confirmed, you receive guidance on what to bring, including travel documents, any relevant medical or dental records, comfortable clothing, and items for your recovery. We advise on timing around your appointments.

What is the warranty period?

Implants carry a lifetime warranty. Veneers and zirconium restorations carry a five-year warranty. This is the warranty period for the work. A particular clinical result is not promised, and individual outcomes vary.

How does a revision work?

If a revision is needed because of a fault on Trip4Smile’s side, it is free of charge. If you ask for a change as a personal preference, the revision is chargeable.

Is the deposit refunded if I cancel?

No. The deposit is not refunded.

Can you help with a visa?

Many nationalities enter Turkiye with an e-visa or visa-free for a short stay. Check the current rules for your passport before you book flights. If a visa is required, Trip4Smile can help with the application for a fee.

What if a complication occurs?

You can reach Trip4Smile on the company phone numbers. Coordination is available from 09:00 to 23:00 TRT every day. In an emergency both numbers are answered 24 hours a day.

What are your support hours?

Coordination hours are 09:00–23:00 TRT, every day. For emergencies, both company numbers are answered 24 hours a day.
